Yim Tin Tze Ecology and Culture Tour

Last week, Form 4 students took part in an educational tour of Yim Tin Tze, where they explored the local history, the growth of Catholicism, and the Hakka cultural heritage.

 

Originally a Hakka settlement,  Yim Tin Tze has preserved part of its area as a cultural showcase, providing an opportunity for visitors to learn about Hakka culture and the historical significance of the salt industry.

 

This activity is designed to help students recognize the integration of traditional industries with cultural preservation. We look forward to more opportunities for such enriching experiences in the future, enabling students to investigate local history and community identity
