Application for transfer students
Guidelines for Transfer Student Admission
Applications for transfer student admission are accepted throughout the year. The forms for which applications may be submitted and the number of students to be admitted are subject to the availability of school places. Each applicant may submit only one application per school year. Applicants who are not admitted in the current school year may reapply in the following school year.
1. Documents Required
Applicants must complete and sign the School's "Transfer Student Admission Application Form" and submit it together with the following documents: (It can be obtained from the General Office or download here.)
1. one recent passport-sized photograph of the applicant;
2. photocopies of the applicant's school report cards for the two most recent school years;
3. a photocopy of the applicant's Hong Kong Identity Card or other identity document;
4. if the applicant holds a Hong Kong Identity Card other than a Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card, photocopies of valid immigration documents showing the applicant's permission to enter or remain in Hong Kong must also be submitted, such as a dependant visa/entry permit together with an Exit-entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao, or a One-way Permit;
5. photocopies of other certificates or awards, if any.
Applicants must ensure that all copies submitted are clear and legible. The School may require applicants to produce the original documents for verification where necessary.
2. Submission of Applications
Applicants or their parents are advised to submit the completed application form and the required supporting documents to the School General Office in person and pay the administration fee for the admission test. Where in-person submission is not possible, the application may also be submitted by email or post. All risks of delay or loss in the post shall be borne by the sender.
3. Admission Test Administration Fee and Admission Slip
- The administration fee for the admission test is HK$75 and is payable in cash only. Applicants should tender the exact amount; no change will be given.
- An admission slip will be issued upon payment. Applicants who have not paid the fee and collected their admission slip will not be scheduled to sit the admission test.
- Fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable, including where an applicant is absent, withdraws the application, or requests a change of admission test session.
- Applicants must keep their admission slip safe. Lost admission slip will not be reissued.
4. Admission Test and Interview Arrangement
- Details of the forthcoming admission tests are as follows:

- Applicants must arrive at the designated reporting venue 15 minutes before the start of the test and bring their admission slip, identity document and the necessary stationery.
- The admission test comprises Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics (the Mathematics test is available in both Chinese and English versions; applicants for Secondary 2 or above may use a calculator in the Mathematics test).
- During the test, applicants must follow the invigilators' instructions and switch off their mobile phones and other electronic communication devices.
- Applicants will be shortlisted for interview on the basis of their performance in the admission test, academic results, conduct, information submitted and the availability of school places. Applicants who do not receive an invitation to interview within two weeks after the test should regard their applications as unsuccessful.
5. Interview Results and Admission Arrangements
The School will notify applicants of the selection results within seven working days after the interview.
6. Handling of Personal Data
The personal data provided by applicants will be used solely by the School for processing transfer student applications and arrangements relating to the admission test, interview and admission.
Upon completion of the admission and registration procedures, the relevant records of admitted students will be retained by the School. Personal data relating to unsuccessful applicants, applicants who decline an offer of a school place or applicants whose application process has been terminated will be handled in accordance with the School's personal data retention and disposal arrangements. No application forms or documents submitted will be returned.
