RCC Debater Takes Top Speaker Award

RCC Debate Team achieved a notable success at the first-ever "Hong Kong Secondary School Mental Health Issues" Debate Competition, where they excelled among 16 schools and earned the second-place title. We congratulate Audrey Yeung from class 5B for receiving the Best Debater award in the finals! This event garnered significant media coverage, including reports from Yahoo News, The Voice, and Ming Pao. This debate holds particular importance as it challenges conventional methods of promoting mental health awareness. It seeks to challenge the stigma associated with mental health through logical discourse and to stimulate public engagement with the topic. While the team's achievement is commendable, it is particularly gratifying to witness the participants from our school critically examining social issues, reflecting the insights and thoughts of the younger generation on current societal matters.
