School Picnic Day: Learning Beyond the Classroom
Date: 16/01/2026
With today marking the end of a two‑week exam period, students welcomed a chance to pause and reflect. To unwind after assessments, we looked back on last month’s school picnic day and the positive memories it created.
Students from Form 1 to Form 5 visited a variety of local sites — Pak Tam Chung, Butterfly Bay (Tuen Mun), Tai O, Shek O Beach, Aberdeen Reservoir, and Cheung Chau — taking the opportunity to learn outside the classroom. The picnics blended learning with social interaction, allowing students to broaden their perspectives and share moments of laughter.
Balancing focused study with restorative activities supports long‑term learning. The school picnic day offered a well‑timed break, helping students rest, reconnect, and return to their studies with renewed energy.
