Student Mentorship Day|Guiding Students as They Map Out Their Growth

Date: 03/06/2026

Our school recently held Student Mentorship Day for Term 2. Each term, teachers meet students for one-to-one mentorship sessions. These meetings are more than a routine arrangement—they provide a structured and meaningful space for students to pause, reflect, and express their thoughts with clarity.

During the sessions, teachers focused on understanding students’ needs and experiences. Through sincere and supportive conversations, teachers listened attentively to students’ current situations and feelings. Students were invited to review their learning and daily experiences over the past term, while teachers guided them to recognise their efforts, identify areas for growth, and appreciate their personal strengths.

This process helps students understand that growth does not always come through dramatic moments. Often, it starts with the willingness to share, the courage to face challenges, and the ability to review and adjust goals. When students feel genuinely listened to, understood, and affirmed, they build confidence and motivation to continue moving forward.

We hope every student remembers that their efforts deserve to be seen, their feelings deserve to be supported, and their growth happens step by step. Although the mentorship sessions have ended, teachers’ care and support will continue. We wish our students can move forward with courage and purpose, supported by a strong sense of understanding and encouragement.
