Visit to Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change (CUHK)

Date: 28/03/2025

Last week, Form 4 students ventured beyond the classroom to explore the Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Accompanied by CUHK students, they gained valuable insights into the effects of climate change on everyday life, including the rising occurrence of extreme weather events. This experience prompted thoughtful discussions on how individuals can address this pressing global issue. The interactive exhibition highlighted that even small actions can contribute positively to the environment, enhancing their understanding of sustainable development.

During their visit, the students also explored Weiyuan Lake at CUHK, where they learned about the university's efforts in ecological protection and greening initiatives. The improvements made to Weiyuan Lake not only enhance the campus's visual appeal and air quality but also reflect CUHK's commitment to reducing carbon emissions. The students expressed a desire to motivate others to embrace sustainable lifestyles and actively participate in protecting the Earth.
