Date: 26/04/2025

The 'Heart of Homeland 3.0: Exceptional Chinese Virtual Gathering Design Competition' hosted by the Hong Kong Subsidized Secondary Schools Council recently concluded successfully. Our institution had the privilege of serving as the location for the award ceremony. The event received extensive coverage from various media sources, including Sing Tao Daily and Hong Kong 01.

The competition drew participation from over 80 secondary schools throughout Hong Kong. Students utilized VR/AR technology, along with thorough research and creative expression, to effectively showcase the remarkable accomplishments and narratives of modern Chinese scientists, entrepreneurs, artists, and politicians. Following intense competition, three students from our school were awarded the Excellence Award for their innovative design projects!

Furthermore, numerous students from our school acted as staff during the ceremony, engaging in activities such as flag-raising and welcoming guests, among other responsibilities. This experience presents a significant learning opportunity, enabling students to expand their perspectives and refine their communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.

Our school has consistently upheld the principle of comprehensive education, dedicated to offering students a varied development platform and motivating them to discover their potential through practical experiences. Moving forward, the institution will persist in advancing STEAM education and service learning, directing students to uncover their capabilities through innovative practices, adapt to contemporary advancements with a technological perspective, and contribute to society with a commitment to service.
